Jaromír Jágr (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjaromiːr ˈjaːɡr̩] ( listen); born February 15, 1972) is a Czech professional ice hockey right winger who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jágr formerly played with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, and New York Rangers, serving as captain of the Penguins and the Rangers. After leaving the Rangers, Jágr played for three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League with Avangard Omsk before returning to the NHL with the Flyers.
